LORONIX:  "This space is to promote forgotten, rare and unknown music."  And how!  This site is the site I would have built if I had twice as much time and 10 times the Music.  Nicely, put together, frequently updated, and hosted by a beautiful green parrot named Zecalouro.

DIASPORA RECORDS:  The number one Brazilian grooves specialist. Grigoire de Villanova has been selling records by mail for 5 years now, providing worldwide soul, funk, jazz fusion, afrobeat and more to record collectors, deejays and producers.  Sample audio clips for many listings and LPs always conservatively graded.  If you are after unusual clubby records or mellow grooves, then Diaspora is the name.  contact@diasporarecords.com

Brazilian Groove Records - MaraRecords - RareGroove

MARA RECORDS:  Simply put, its everything you could possibly imagine and then some.  Literally thousands upon thousands of classic Brazilian LPs.  Fast shipping (free for orders over $120), prompt friendly correspondence and knowledgeable staff.

EVERYTHING FROM BRAZIL:  This is a link to the ebay store for the best most trustworthy seller of Brazilian music on ebay.  He is a true and consummate professional.  All gradings are accurate and conservative.  He keeps meticulous accounts and he is fair and honest.  He also lists tons of items each week from classics to obscurities and offers a huge catalog of reprints and CDs as well.

WHAT MUSIC:  Whatmusic.com offers many of the early Equipe and Musidisc LPs on CD or as reissued LPs.  Orlann Divo's LPs are available as well as many others that are hard to find as original pressings.  New items are constantly being issued, and the site offers other latin and jazz LPs.

DUSTY GROOVE:  Great American retailer selling all kinds of new and original Brazilian LPs.  Dusty Groove carries many of the whatmusic.com releases as well as reissues of the classic Deodato LPs and others.  Also carries many excellent compilations and new recordings made in the spirit of the classic bossa nova and balanco sound.

NEEDLE DOCTOR: Everything the serious record collector could ever want but never afford because we're spending all our money buying records.  Lots of record care items (I bought my Nitty Gritty from them and it kicks ass), record sleeves, ultra-high end electronic equipment, every stylus imaginable and more.  Its like what the Sears toy catalog used to be when you were 7.

A Cool Brazilian radio show full of classic grooves.

I bought some records from this guy a few weeks ago and they were great.  His grading was at least one level more conservative then the LPs turned out to be; if he said good than I say excellent, if he said excellent than I say mint.  The shipping was fast and the prices were fair.  He has lots of great stuff so I'm sure I'll be going back.
